We’ve been operating for over 10 years and over this time have had the privilege to work at over 50 stunning venues across the South of England. We cater for all kinds of events, including Weddings, Corporate Events, Military Functions, Birthday Celebrations, School Proms and more.

About DJ Izaac James
Hi! I’m Izaac and I run Izaac James Disco – a Mobile DJ business based in Exeter. I know people often like to know a bit about who they’re booking before they commit, so here’s a little about myself:
I started as a DJ back in 2009 at a young age, inspired by my Father who hung up his headphones before I was born. I quickly realised I had a passion for music, entertaining, and the technical side of events, so my hobby quickly became a business and has grown ever since.
Over the last 13 years I’ve taken every opportunity to develop my skills, by learning through experience at a huge variety of events. I’ve played at everything from Weddings to Military Events, in venues from 5-star hotels to country houses, and open fields to nightclubs!
Such a diverse range of work has given me a wealth of knowledge across almost every music genre, from Pop and Chart music, to Dance, Rock, Rnb, and Indie, from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s and present day. Unlike some other DJs I don’t operate a ‘setlist’ policy, i.e. a fixed list of songs I will play on the night. Instead I like to discuss music choices in depth with clients beforehand, taking their suggestions and building a suggested list of songs around them. Taking special requests from guests on the night is absolutely fine too!
Music will of course be professionally mixed from one song to the next, and for some genres (e.g. Dance) I can perfectly match the beats and tempo for a seamless transition your guests won’t even notice! If you’re looking for a DJ who’s confident on the mic and can announce your First Dance and get involved with the audience I can do this – but if you’d rather I just play the music that’s not a problem either.
About the Disco
Our Disco has changed a lot over the last decade, as part of our ‘continuous improvement’ approach and the aim to always be better!
After years of upgrading equipment one step at a time, we can now confidently say we have one of the best Mobile Discos in Exeter, Devon, and beyond.
All of our packages are supplied with top-of-the-range Electrovoice (EV) sound systems, moving lights, lasers, and our one-of-a-kind mirror DJ booth.
If you’re looking for something extra-special, our premium package is an exclusive option not offered by anyone else. It includes a 4-speaker, 7600-Watt EV ETX sound system, extensive, computer-controlled lightshow, and our unique magic mirror DJ booth (displays video effects, Bride & Groom’s names, company logos etc.)
For the largest events, and club/festival style productions, we can supply an extended package. This features a 11.2kW sound system (nightclub-level volume), UV lighting, strobes, fog jets and more.
All packages are available with a range of extras, including starcloth backdrops, uplighting, fairy lights, stages, projectors and more – all at discounted rates thanks to Izaac’s event hire company LiveSupport.
